Today marks Mary’s 37th birthday! Even though she’s not on social media to see this anymore, I still wanted to go ahead and publicly wish her a happy birthday and hope this is a good day with her filled with lots of laughter, good memories with her family and much more! In celebration of her birthday, I’ve also uploaded a brand new never-before-seen still of Mary as her character Huntress from ‘Birds of Prey’ into the gallery! Thanks to a good friend for sending this in! Much appreciated.

Mary And Ewan Duet ‘If I Needed You’

On Saturday evening was the 2021 Go Gala Campaign which raised money in support of COVID-19 relief efforts around the world, racial justice for American youth, and education for at-risk children in Africa, Latin America, and girls in Afghanistan.

Just like last year, this year’s event was once again held virtually and Mary and Ewan sang another beautiful song. This time around, they sang Townes Van Zandt song “If I Needed You”. Originally written by Van Zandt and recorded in 1972, the song became a country radio hit in 1981 when it was covered as a duet by Emmylou Harris and Don Williams.

You can watch their performance below. Mary’s singing voice as we all know is absolutely lovely, so this was quite the treat. If you missed last year’s performance, you can see it here.

Mary’s Performance At Go Global 2020 Virtual Gala

As previously mentioned, Mary participated in this year’s Go Global Gala virtual edition. At the event, she sang Blur’s “tender” with her Fargo co-star Ewan McGregor. You can watch their performance below:

Mary to Participate in Virtual Gala This October

Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been confirmed to participate in Go Campaign’s 14th annual gala that will take place October 24 at 6pm PDT. This year, it will be going virtual and be hosted by Robert Pattinson, Lilly Collins and Ewan Mcgregor. Musical performances will include HAIM, Judith Hill, Katharine McPhee and David Foster, McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, as well as McGregor’s daughter’s band French Thyme.

The money raised for the event will benefit Go Campaign’s support of global COVID-19 relief and the fight to end racial inequality in the United States.

The GO Campaign is a nonprofit focused on serving orphans and vulnerable children around the world. You can donate money and register for a ticket to attend the event here.

This is all going towards a good cause so donate if you can and/or spread the word about this! Can’t wait to see Ewan and Mary will be singing together. It’s going to be an all around great event.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead Inducted in the Academy’s 2017 Class

Exciting news! Mary has been inducted into this year’s Academy Awards class of 2017! The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences continued to make strides to diversify its membership by inviting 774 potential new members from actors and actresses, film editors, directors and more, Mary of course being one of them along with her former Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World co-star Chris Evans and The Spectacular Now co-star Shailene Woodley.

Mary Drives Around ‘Santa Monica’ in Honus Honus’ New Music Vid

After being featured in Portugal. The Man’s video for “Noise Pollution”, Mary is back in the music video scene, this time starring in Honus Honus’ video for “Santa Monica”. Her and Honus Honus, a.k.a Ryan Kattner of Man Man, recently worked together on the musical short “So It Goes”, which you can view here.
